There are some Jeans ads and commercials made that raise eyebrows not only of a society at large but also of advertising councils. They create controversies and mind you controversies are damn good for publicity. Here, I have listed down top and best 10 Jeans ads and commercials (no McKinsey research finding, these are my personal favorites).
Wrangler Jeans – We are animals
This Wrangler Jeans advertisement is plane art or imitating life, is difficult to answer. The Ad ageny from Paris FFL Paris, France and its Executive Creative Directors Fred & Farid have created this shocking jean ad.
Schultz Jeans advertisement
OK, its not clear if this Schultz Jeans advert is meant for boys or girls, or may be it’s a unise*ual product meant for both the genders. Dear ladies, It shows you the right way to keep your clothes on after the whole exercise is over and leave the rest nkead and wanting for more.
Calvin Klein Jeans Banned Uncensored commercial
Calvin Klein Jeans commercial has been banned from American television. The ad in question has featured topless male and female models making out on a couch. Well, going with the flow participants are not wearing anything other than a pair Calvin Klein Jeans!
Steve Meisel, the famous photographer has shot the ad which deemed to be to vulgar for cable watching people of America.
Look at her legs, seems exported fresh from an anorexic country
Dolce & Gabbana Rpae Ad
This Dolce & Gabbana ad is a real real shocker. It simply suggests a gang rpae is about to take place. The commercial shows a woman is pinned to the ground by the wrists by a bare-chested man while other men in the background are looking on.
Advertising Self-Discipline Institute (IAP) from Italy has banned the advertisement. It said, the ad “offended the dignity of the woman, in the sense that the feminine figure is shown in a degrading manner. The woman has an alienated expression, with an absent look”.
Levi’s Bare Rear advertisement
There is nothing to much to hide. This Levi’s all bare ess ad, I am not sure how showcases the benefit of the product, but it worked, considered as one of the most popular Jeans ads of all time. By the way, the ad was shot in 1970s, not much fashion statement here (it’s as eternal as Eve), so still does not look outdated.
Turkish Jeans ad
This one is really weird. No, there is no nuidty involved in here, but quite obvious what’s taking place in there. Imagine, the ad is from Turkey, a so called conservative country.
Lee Jeans controversial Lolita style ad
The shocking part in this Lee Jeans ad is that, baby doll get up girl who is shot in the ad shoot in various nymphet scenarios barely looks legal age wise. Australia’s Advertising Standards Board is scrutinizing this fruit if art after several people complained “the clothes can hardly be seen and this type of ad demeans women.”
Calvin Klein controversial ad featuring Eva Mendes
Calvin Klein chose Eva Mendes as its brand ambassador when she was sentenced rehab. The folks out there at CK thought she truly is personification of se*iness and confrontational.
Crocker uncensored commercial
Honestly I don’t much like this TVC of Crocker, probably an Israeli brand (not much in the knowing, sorry). Well, there is not much to dislike either, it’s a pretty simple honest ‘Why should boys have all the fun’ kinda ad.
