Peta-Ad-Amanda-Beard

After stripping down posed in nude for Playboy magazine in 2007, former Olympic gold medalist swimmer Amanda Beard has launched naked, anti-fur campaign outside for PETA. But the Chinese authorities first canceled a planned unveiling, citing safety concerns. The campaign somehow unveiled at other spot.

The ad features Amanda posing in front of the Water Cube swimming venue. She says in the ad

Seeing animals slaughtered to be worn as fashion is awful to me, so I’m definitely against wearing fur … I’d much rather go naked than ever put a dead animal on my body.

Visa “Go World” 2008 Olympic Commercial “Come Together” gets a voice over (narration) by Morgan Freeman. In this exclusively made for Beijing Olympics ad he said, there are only six billion people in the world. May be the ad was recorded some time back, because by a conservative estimate approximately the number is 7 million people.

This is what he exactly said with his Godish heavenly voice:

“There are six billion of us. We all come from unique places, with unique ways of looking at the world. We don’t always agree but for a few shining weeks we set it all aside. We come together to stand and cheer and celebrate as one. We think all the things that make us different and remember all the things that make us the same.”

Visa’s “Go World” Olympics campaign featuring US athletes celebrates human accomplishment and the border-transcending connectedness people experience during the Games’ few short weeks. From epic to personal, the spots celebrate the human experience, designed to be both timeless and contemporary, writes Duncan.

Gymnast from Canada Alexandra Orlando is getting ready to some blogging as wellAlexandra-Orlando-blog-picture-photo-image

The sensuous rhythmic gymnast from Canada Alexandra Orlando will be blogging during the Olympic Games. Well if you think the blog has been created just for itsy bitsy ranting then you are mistaken.

She will write in couple of blogs. I don’t know whether she herself will write the entries, the way I do..hehe..or some professional writer will do the ghost writing for her.

Both the blogs are part of marketing and advertising campaigns from Lenovo and CBC. Lenovo, the Chinese giant has asked athletes from around the world to do blogging for them. You may get a look at it at www.summergames.lenovo.com. But Alexandra will also do blogging for Lenovo at www.alexandra-orlando.blogspot.com.

She will also do blogging for CBC.

Aggressive that core to the nature, official sports drink of the Beijing 2008 Olympic games, Coca Cola marketing team for Powerade brand it seems is not content with bringing in cyclist Rebecca Romero and Triple jumper Phillips Idowu on board dare bare. It has also gotten swimmer Gregor Tait to make more splash consumer’s minds.

Yes, Rebecca Romero, Phillips Idowu and Gregor Tait have never ever been photographed before, so the novelty factor will always work here. The essence of the new InnerGear concept for ‘Powerade’ illustrates that no matter how sophisticated an athletes’ outer gear (sports kit), it is not effective without your Innergear – what you put inside your body.  Research has shown that as little as a 2% drop in hydration can seriously affect an athlete’s performance, and elite athletes in Beijing will have to combat the extreme weather conditions if they are to compete with the best in the world.
