Banned Sprite commercial Germany ad

This Sprite commercial, which involves (kind of) oral s*x, has been banned in Germany. The advertisement, according to Current TV has been banned in Germany for obvious reasons. It unbelievably combines oral s*x and the desire for a refreshing Sprite to create a big finish that has to be seen to be believed.

The uproar has reached such an unimaginable level that YouTube also has deleted all videos that carry keywords like these: Banned German Sprite Ad, Banned Sprite Ad, Banned Sprite Ad Video, Banned Sprite Blow Job Ad, German Sprite Commercial. You can check YouTube here, but wont gets doughnut bro…lol

However, yours truly has ‘innocently’ extracted the video from another site. It’s running kind of ‘successfully’ there. I hope they don’t bring it down.

My reaction to the ad was like WTF is going on. Creatively it seems quite rubbish, but I bet the recall value would have been astonishing had it been allowed.

Sprite is getting a lot of publicity for free anyway.

Warning: If you have a peeping aunt sits next to your workstation do not play it in office.

Update: OMG….these people have deleted the video from here too. Let me have a look and upload it again.

Update: The director of the Sprite ad repsonds to media about the imbroglio.  This is what he shares with The Huffington Post Link

My name is Max Isaacson, I directed and produced the fake Sprite ads that have been making the rounds over the past five days. There have been quite a lot of false statements made regarding these and I would like to make a few things very clear about these spots. First, there was no involvement from either The Coca-Cola Company or Greencard Pictures. Second, this was not supposed to be taken seriously by anybody. They were made completely on spec, which was clearly stated on the YouTube pages on which the ads were primarily seen. I paid for, produced and directed both spots independently. I am frankly quite surprised that spots of this nature were so quickly and easily believed to be legitimate. I hope that all parties involved will understand that this was a simple mistake that went much too far too fast, and that it is now made clear that these were not real commercials, nor were they ever produced with intention of being taken as such

AshleyMadison GoDaddy superbowl commercial racy ad banned rehjected pic photo snap
AshleyMadison.com’s superbowl commercial has been rejected by NFL. You may or may not heard of the website before but many married people do have.  Ashley Madison offers its matchmaking services to married people looking to have an illicit affair. The Canadian company tried to insert a print ad for its services in the 2009 Super Bowl commercial. The ad shows a sweaty woman in a tiny tank top in a suggestive posture and asking “Who are you doing after the game?” It’s got lot of publicity last month for its so called innovative services. And mind you, it will keep getting more.

The NFL team has rejected the commercial even before seeing it when it realized what the Web site does, according to CNBC.com.  “After realizing what the site was, the sales rep called back and told the company there was a mistake and that his company could not sell an ad to the site,” NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said.

Ashley Madison president however does not agree with NFL management team. He has his own reasons, after all isn’t he only delivering only what all of us want so badly in life. He said, “I find the rejection to be ridiculous given that a huge percentage of the NFL’s marketing content is for products like alcohol, which they sell in their stadiums, promote on their air and have in the game program. That’s a product that literally kills tens of thousands of people each year,” he said, adding, “We don’t intend to let this pass. The NFL fan base is our core audience and we will find a way to let them know about the existence of this service and let them decide if it’s something for them.” Link
