Some find it dirty, some funny, some ugly. However, the challenge lies in detailing the idea to client with a straight face. Cool stuff.
Schweppes Burst slow motion balloons Ad
Schweppervescence’s ‘Burst’ campaign video is using slow motion cameras at 10,000 frames per second to capture the final moments in the trajectories of water balloons. That’s kind of amazing. The so exclusive Schweppervescence moment is related to the bubbles in the air moments after the pouring of Schweppes products like lemonade, dry ginger ale, mineral water, tonic or soda water.
Durex Condom ad
They say this is the best ever condom commercial arrived from the house of Durex. The best thing is, it’s so tastefully done. Its divine. It’s a French ad titled “Les Préservatifs Qui Donnent Envie”. In English it means “Condoms That Generate Desire”. The ad is featuring a remixed spot from ABBA.
I also like the balloons do the naughty one. It’s score. LOL. I mean hilarious.
Roger Federer Nike ad
Nothing extraordinary…but certainly created ripples when released last January, i believe, or last December..
Doritos - Crystal Ball super bowl commercial
Love the way the guy throws the crystal ball through the snack machine behind them. Followed by the best part. Simple.
Career Builder Super Bowl Commercial
For some, the ad spot may sound mind-numbing. But I know one thing, some friends of mine really liked it, one of them called and said, “Those are exactly the thoughts that go through my head every day. And now I have to go to work. post about it on your blog.” I did mate
Denny’s - Free Grand Slam commercial
According to Business Week & AdAge the ad was a grand success. And then someone commented
Let see $3 mil for the air time.
$350k + to produce
Fee to agency?
Cost of GS at $2 each x 2mil = $4 mil
So they spent $8m to tell you that you can eat for free..
And you call that a success?
When the people come back and you can prove it was because it was the food.
Then that’s a success.
The rate of new customers is what will make this a success not an $8m give away that is over and done with.
FREE the oldest gimmick in the world.
Audi commercial by Jason Statham
Actor Jason Statham, known for his action-packed roles in the “Transporter” series, “Snatch” and “The Bank Job,” rushes from decade to decade to avoid capture, trying to find a luxury vehicle to aid his getaway. He finds that several other luxury vehicles fail to get the job done, until he finds the supercharged Audi A6 sedan. Adage
