Maria-Sharapova-boyfriend-Charlie-Ebersol

Maria Sharapova and Charlie Ebersol are together. Former world no. 1, the leggy beauty Maria Sharapova has informed press that she is dating Charlie Ebersol, son of the chairman of TV network NBC Sports Dick Ebersol and Hollywood actress Susan Saint James. The Ebersol family was involved in a plane crash. Though Charlie and his father survived the crash but Charlie’s younger brother Teddy, 14, died at the scene. In the above picture Maria Sharapova is looking pretty beautiful with the handsome hunk.

Maria Sharapova is presently the world’s highest-paid women tennis player and female athlete. Before this she was in relationship with Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine. Miss Sharapova was also linked to US tennis star Andy Roddick.

Personally 2008 is not turining out to be a great year for Sharapova, presently ranked 6th in ATP. First, she had to opt out of U.S. Open due to a kinky shoulder injury and now in the month of September she has suddenly made her mind about not playing further in the current season. But now it seems the forced break has resulted in a wonderful way for the girl as she has found a new date. So far so good. I wish it lasts sometime.

advertising-strategy-marketing-client-servicingHow do you know what is great advertising? Great advertising is single minded, the proposition differentiates and the advertising idea dramatizes the proposition brilliantly. Strategy, therefore, needs to be simple, single minded and stimulating to the creative team so that it comes up with a good advertising idea.

Good advertising strategy should work like a funnel. A good strategy begins with a situational analysis. There are a few things one should never do in situational analysis:

1. Never accept that there is no information

2. Never use your brand’s market share alone to conclude market position.

3. In indexing, never fail to find a reference point that gives the clearest picture

Never forget the miniscule statistical changes from research reports are not the whole story. And never leave out an accurate population count.

HSBC Wimbledon art work won many a hearts

JWT, London has enlisted British artists Heather Ackroyd and Dan Harvey to create “grass photographs” for HSBC’s partnership with the Wimbledon tennis tournament. Harnessing seedling grass light sensitivity, Ackroyd and Harvey, who are known for similar work worldwide, record photographic images by projecting black and white negatives onto grass as it grows in a dark room for 12 hours per day for more than a week. The grass grows in accordance to the modified light exposure, thus the photo “develops” on a living canvas. Link

The artists essentially use grass as a form of photographic paper, projecting a black-and-white negative image onto a patch of grass as it grows in a dark room, and using the natural photosensitive properties of the grass to reproduce photographs. As Wimbledon is the only remaining Grand Slam tennis tournament that takes place on grass, it was a natural fit for Ackroyd & Harvey’s work, which has also appeared on the National Theatre Lyttleton flytower and Dilston Grove in Bermondsey.Link
